From our amazing community! We also receive donations from people passing through Ohakune, who love what we do, how we present it, and want to contribute towards that - we are always so grateful for the incredible items we receive through the donation space. It continuously blows us away seeing what comes through the shop.

Do you sell ski and snow gear?

Accepted Answer

Absolutely we do! Living this close to the mountain, we have variety of ski and snowboard items (clothing & gear) at great, afforable prices. We now have a dedicated SNOW container lined with skis, boots, poles, snowboards, gloves, goggles, helmets and more. Our snow clothing is kept inside the main building of the shop. We also have 'dead' skis and snowboards for those wanting to make artwork or furniture from them.

What if I purchased a large item and cannot take it away that day?

Accepted Answer

That is OK, we have a 24-hour holding period once you have paid for that item. We will take your name and number down - we will do our best to make contact with you if the item has not been collected, however we encourage you to:a) collect the item within 24 hours b) call us to give an update as to when you can collect the item. Due to the large amount of donations and items we receive, we do not have capacity to hold or store items for very long, so the item may end up available for another customer if it is not collected as agreed when paying.
